Each of Lori’s handcrafted ceramic sculptures has a unique identity. She begins by shaping a thin slab of clay with a drape mold and lets the personality emerge as she paddle carves the developing sculpture.

Hiroshi creates a high-fire stoneware body with multiple-layered glazes. Reduction fired to cone 11(2350 F) twice. Each piece is individually made using various methods, such as wheel-thrown, hand-built and/or slab-built.

Janis creates highly decorated functional porcelain vessels using bas-relief, painting, drawing and embossed impressions. Her themes are derived from nature, culture and art history that are often interwoven like textiles. Each individual piece expresses a personal narrative.
James creates raku and oxidation fired wheel thrown and hand built sculptural work. They are primitive, ceremonial, and certainly, one-of-kind works.
