Michelle works on canvas with several layers of acrylic paint and mixed media materials including hand crafted papers, sewing patterns, maps, old letters, pages from vintage books, and other ephemera. Her current body of work is titled “of land and sky, whimsical and free.” The work focuses on storytelling, nostalgia, and a hope of the future.
