Also happening in Downtown Westport this weekend is Saugatuck StoryFest.

The inaugural StoryFest weekend is a three-day celebration of stories of all kinds, with a special emphasis on YA/Children’s Literature and genre fiction. This year, we’re celebrating the stories that make readers fall in love with reading. StoryFest weekend will feature horror writers, comic creators, musical theatre composers, documentarians, romance authors, sci fi/fantasy writers, picture book authors, kid lit writers and some of the hottest voices in contemporary YA.

These authors won’t just be behinds tables or up on panels talking about their work. The weekend is designed to be immersive and interactive: take workshops with writers about the craft of writing, learn illustration basics with comics creators, experience a concert, taste a festival-inspired craft beer, view wearable book art, and much more.

Attending the StoryFest is like stepping inside your favorite story.
